The Blessing of the Hounds and Opening Day of our 2020 Fall Formal Season! Please join us for this very special hunt.

Please be mounted and ready by 9:45 am to join in the pre-hunt mounted meeting and the Blessing of the Hounds. As with all Wentworth Hunts, our beloved hounds move off promptly at 10 am.

Tailgate Contest
After the hunt, we will be having a tailgate contest in lieu of our normal elaborate blessing hunt tea! This will help us celebrate our Opening Day in style and camaraderie while retaining social distancing. We encourage friends and family to park together and collaborate on their own hunt tea. Decorations are strongly encouraged! Please set up in front of your truck, and leave the back of your trailer for your horses (where they will create their own version of a tailgate!).

This will be a “bring your own” tea, but feel free to wander (with masks, please) and enjoy the decorations and lively conversation in celebration of the start of Wentworth Hunt’s Formal Season! To make it even more fun, we encourage you all to present your tailgate, and the winner will be chosen by our landowners!

In order to be paper-free and limit physical contact with documents for the safety of our staff, we ask that that before coming to any meet, all participants fill out the necessary forms and submit payment online at least 24 hours before the hunt.
