Children’s Hunt! Green Acres Stables
August 22, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Our Children’s Hunt is specially dedicated to our younger, sometimes smaller, often braver, riders. Guests who are 25 years old and younger ride for free! Adults may of course join as well, but must pay a capping fee. Unmounted walkers are welcome, as well as those who wish to drive to the various locations where they may watch the hunt. We request that all our mounted guests, young and (ahem) otherwise, sign online release forms and submit online payments at least 24 hours before this hunt (please click here).
For this special hunt, we will be providing a special hunt tea (aka lunch)! Our tea will be in keeping with COVID-19 safety recommendations and will be an assortment of pre-wrapped foods, drinks, and goodies galore! And while none will be home-made, we guarantee deliciousness! Please join us!
Hounds move off promptly at 10 am. Please be mounted and ready by 9:45 am to join in the pre-hunt mounted meeting.
In keeping with COVID-19 guidelines, we ask that you please wear a mask when not mounted.
During the hunt tea, please remember that while we are a social bunch (we are Wentworth Hunt, after all!) we will be spatially distant. Please bring a chair or rug to sit on and join us for a lively, albeit 6′ distant, post hunt gathering.
In order to be paper-free and limit physical contact with documents for the safety of our staff, we ask that that before coming to any meet, all participants fill out the necessary forms and submit payment online at least 24 hours before the hunt. Members and guests, please click here to complete forms and payment.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our secretary at Secretary@WentworthHunt.org.
Thank you!
