New England has always been admired for its outstanding landscape and tapestry of exquisite fall colors. Nature at its finest with picturesque countryside of rolling farmland, meadows woodlands,stonewalls and streams. It is in this sporting country life setting that the New England Hunts Championship Hunter Trials will be held on October 26, 2014. Hunter Trials are a competition between member riders, who foxhunt regularly with their registered or recognized New England hunt. It is a cross-country ride, 2 – 3 miles long, judged by way of going and maneuvering over hunt obstacles.
We welcome non-members and/or riding professionals to ride in the Open Divisions. Entries may be limited due to time constraints.
The Trial Divisions are:

An awards luncheon is served following the competition. Ribbons and perpetual trophies are awarded. It’s a very exciting day for riders and spectators alike!
