We hunt rain or shine. However, our schedule may change due to severe weather or other factors. Changes to venue or cancellations will be made to this online calendar, posted on the front page of this website, and emailed to members no later than 6:00 am on hunt day.
Halloween and Children’s Hunt: Green Acres Stables

BOO!!! (translation: HOORAY!!) Please join our Halloween and Children’s Hunt at Green Acres Stables!
Due to the vey rainy cancelation of our Children’s Hunt on August 26, this year our Halloween Hunt is also our Children’s Hunt!
Guests who are 25 years old and younger ride for free! This hunt is specially designed with younger (and often braver) riders in mind. We will have companion horses and steady-eddies to keep everyone safe. Riders may also be ponied or lead-lined by a family member or experienced friend.

BONUS!!! Since it’s also our Halloween Hunt: Spooky human costumes strongly encouraged! Scary (although usually adorable) horse costumes are optional!
Of course, you may hunt in formal attire, especially since the thought of tying a stock tie can be horrifying! May we suggest you knot said stock tie in a rakish manner and claim to be dressed as the late, great Queen Elizabeth?
Unmounted walking zombies (aka family and friends) are very welcome, as are those who wish to spookily transport themselves (aka drive) to the various locations from which one may watch the hunt.
Our other-worldly hounds move off promptly at 10 am. Please be mounted and ready to ride by 9:45 am to join in the pre-hunt ghoulish mounted meeting.
