Please join us at the 2026 MFHA Drag Hound Performance Trials hosted by De La Brook Foxhounds!

Performance Trials are conducted just like a regular mounted foxhunt with multiple fields. The only difference is the pack consists of the hounds entered by each participating hunt. This superior pack is then hunted by a neutral huntsman and staff. In other words, this is a SUPERHOUND hunt!

The competition consists of 2 hunts: one on Thursday and one on Friday. On both days, judges ride with the hunt, staff, or on their own for the best vantage point of the hounds working. Hounds are numbered to allow mounted judges to evaluate each hound in categories of Hunting, Trailing, and Full Cry.

YES, you can cap one or both of these hunts! If you are not riding, come and watch this incredible hunt and take advantage of the opportunity to meet foxhunters from other parts of the country.

BONUS: Stay the weekend and cap Saturday with De La Brooke Foxhounds W.
