The 2024 New England Hunter Trials will be held on Sunday, September 22, at the Norfolk Hunt Steeplechase Course in Medfield, MA. Co-hosted by Norfolk Hunt and our own beloved Wentworth Hunt, you know this event is going to be rocking!!

Temporary stabling will be available at Apple Knoll Farm (about 10 minute drive to the steeplechase course). Please contact Adri Kerr at (774) 287-1493.

Hunter Trials are open to hunt members and non-members alike!

The Hunter Trials course traditionally includes 20 to 25 obstacles of natural design such as might be found at a hunt. Hunt-specific challenges such a quick stop (Hold Hard), a quick exit (Gone Away), and opening and closing a fence will be included. Each obstacle is judged from the perspective of easy and smooth execution.

The Hunter Trials will offer Qualified Divisions for active foxhunters as well as Open Divisions available to everyone.
